Conditions of Entry – Studio One Toi Tū
Welcome to Studio One Toi Tū. Our goal is to provide a safe, inclusive, respectful, and well-maintained environment for all community who use the space, this includes staff, volunteers, visitors, and guests.
By entering this venue, you agree to follow these Conditions of Entry.
Our Standards
We do not accept threatening, antisocial, discriminatory, or harmful behaviour, whether directed at kaimahi (staff) or customers.
Auckland Council and Studio One Toi Tū staff may ask anyone to leave if these conditions are not met. Non-compliance may result in Security or Police attendance, temporary bans, or a 2-year Trespass Notice.
What You Must Not Do
- Behave in a way, or bring/exhibit any item, that creates a nuisance or is offensive to others.
- Damage Auckland Council or Studio One Toi Tū property.
- Use or possess illegal drugs or substances within the venue.
What You Must Do
- Treat staff and other visitors with respect at all times.
- Share feedback or concerns constructively through appropriate channels.
- Understand that aggressive, abusive, or threatening behaviour will result in removal and possible further action.
- Respect staff’s right to enforce venue policies and ensure safety without fear of retaliation.

Studio One Toi Tū is committed to being a safe space, a welcoming, inclusive, and respectful environment for all. Creativity thrives where everyone feels safe, valued, and respected. By entering Studio One Toi Tū, you agree to uphold these principles:
1. Respect and Inclusion
Treat all individuals with dignity, regardless of race, gender, sexuality, ability, age, religion, or background. Discrimination, harassment, or bullying will not be tolerated.
2. Freedom of Expression
We support diverse voices and artistic expression. Debate and dialogue are welcome — hate speech and harmful content are not.
3. Emotional and Physical Safety
Be mindful of others’ boundaries and personal space. Report unsafe behaviour or concerns to staff immediately.
4. Community Care
Support fellow visitors and artists in creating a positive atmosphere. Respect shared spaces and contribute to a culture of kindness.
5. Zero Tolerance
Any behaviour that compromises the safety or wellbeing of others may result in removal from the venue.
Venue Care and Responsibility
- Help maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming space. Dispose of waste properly and report hazards.
- Respect venue property, furnishings, and equipment. Intentional damage or misuse may result in liability.
- Use shared spaces responsibly. Leave them as you found them, or better.
- Follow posted signage and instructions regarding room usage, capacity limits, and safety protocols.
Legal Use of Facilities
All use of Studio One Toi Tū facilities must be for legal purposes. Activities must not involve:
- Breach of copyright or privacy rights.
- Unauthorised alteration or deletion of data or website content.
- Unauthorised access to information.
- Access or transmission of illegal images or text.
- Use or possess illegal drugs or substances within the venue.
