We're excited to announce that TATTOO TIME is back for February 2026!

Tattoo Time is an annual mini tattoo convention held by Two Hands Tattoo. The event will run across three consecutive days. This year, Tattoo Time will take place at Studio One Toi Tū on 6, 7, and 8 February, kicking off from 11am each day.

As always there will be no door charge, everyone is welcome. An artist from the 2026 lineup will be announced each week on Instagram at @twohandstattoo.

Tight jaw ... stiff shoulders ... the silent tension of everyday life. Sometimes our bodies speak before we even notice. This workshop offers a warm pause – a few hours to come back to yourself, somatically and kindly. The session draws in ocean-rooted art-making practices to help release tension and restore calm to your body and nervous system. It's a space for connection, healing, and collective rest.

After taking some time to reset and rebuild, CreativeMornings Auckland returns with a renewed spark, a new organising team, and a lineup of fresh themes and inspiring speakers. Samesame but Different Queer Writer’s Festival presents the 2026 PRIDE Poetry Speakeasy and Open Mic in association with Auckland Libraries and Studio One Toi Tū. Come along to read your original or favourite rainbow poetry, to listen and enjoy in a welcoming queer word nest. With MC Michael Giacon and guest poet Hebe Kearney.

This Auckland Pride, artist Maya Lynch from Small Batch Pottery Co & Queer Clay Club is taking over Studio One Toi Tū for a one-night-only clay adventure. 

Whether you’re a total newbie or just clay-curious, this FREE, Queer, hands-on workshop will show you the pure joy, and chaos, of throwing on the wheel. You’ll learn essential techniques, feel the rhythm of the wheel, and create something real with your own two hands. It’s messy, meditative, and unexpectedly romantic, perfect for Pride and Valentine’s week. Don’t wear your nice clothes and bring your own hand towel.

Let’s talk about queer sex, real questions, and what keeps us healthy. Join the crew from Test’n’Treat, Aotearoa’s first peer-led sexual health clinic, plus our mates from Auckland Sexual Health, for an easy, open, judgement-free chat. We’ll cover the stuff everyone wants to know rapid testing, staying healthy, prevention tools like PrEP and DoxyPEP, and treatment options. No shame, no awkward vibes, just good info and honest kōrero.

Walk through the history of the NZ AIDS quilts project, learn the stories behind some of the quilts that Burnett Foundation Aotearoa are guardians of, learn about the impact AIDS had on the community in the 80s and how the community came together to support those dying of AIDS and others live with the virus.

There is also the ability to put your design skills to the test, we will be running a condom wallet design comp for PRIDE where the successful designs will be picked and made into the next condom wallets that we send out to community and stakeholders.



Queer joy is a deeply relational experience for many of us, and is amplified through our community, loved ones and chosen whānau. This Valentine's Day, we invite you to craft a quilted plushie charm- for or inspired by someone who nurtures your queer joy. 

A fun life drawing class teaching you how to observe a model's pose in real life and translate it into a drawing. By the end of the class, you will complete a few drawings on some quick poses and a more detailed drawing from a longer pose.

Quiet Chaos Club is a gentle, sensory friendly community event for queer, neurodivergent, and disabled folks. It offers a cosy, low-pressure space where attendees can bring a favourite side quest such as a craft, hobby, journaling, or simply relaxing and enjoy quiet company while a guest speaker shares a laid-back conversation. 

No one is ever expected to talk except the guest speaker and Nic, your host. Comfort, ease, and accessibility come first.


Drop in and get stamping. This workshop invites participants to play with heat-reactive ink using custom stamps inspired by horses, flames, and auspicious sayings for the year of the fire horse. Taking cues from red envelope gifting, cash is swapped for a handmade artwork. Think of someone you’d like to send good energy to, experiment with composition, and create a fiery little gesture that reveals itself through warmth and touch.

In this workshop, participants will learn how to make the Caisson Knot, the endless knot and the button knot. Creating knots as a group is a way to bring together people from different walks of life, to exchange goodwill and blessings. Through these knotting workshops, wai ching creates a space of likeness, connectedness, and active learning.

This workshop offers an introduction to Chinese martial arts through guided movement, cultural context and learning. Drawing on fundamental martial arts principles participants will explore how intention, posture, rhythm, and pathways move through the body.

Participants will be guided through accessible sequences, grounding exercises, and to embody strong horse stances (Mǎ Bù) into the year of the horse.

This workshop welcomes beginners and martial arts practitioners of all fields to experience new movement-based practice.

No prior martial arts or movement experience is required.

Get ready to unwind, connect and create with Aunty’s House and Masala Bazaar at Studio One Toi Tū for Sketch&Sip — a chilled afternoon of art, music, and culture. Together, we’ll create something beautiful while sipping homemade spicy chai, nibbling on both sweet and savoury South Asian snacks, and soaking in a live cultural soundscape by our resident DJ: basmami.

With Aunty's House Safer Space Agreements in mind, bring your curiosity, bring a friend, bring your energy — all creative materials will be provided.

Explore Bengali embroidery in an interactive, communal workshop with textile and community artist, Sahana Rahman. Contribute your story to a collective embroidered mural as you learn about Nokshi Kantha, a tradition where Bengali women stitch their stories onto fabrics and upcycled sarees. Master basic kantha stitches and create a design inspired by your own story. Nokshi Kotha, meaning "embroidered talk" in Bangla, celebrates shared healing, joy and connection through the art of stitching together.
