THE NINE WHETŪ
—
SARA MOANA
—
The Nine Whetū by Sara Moana (Ngāti Tamaoho, Tainui) is a playful series illustrating each of the nine stars celebrated during Matariki. A whimsical, witty approach that explores both the interwoven, collective significance of Matariki in Aotearoa, and the plentiful ways in which each star helps navigate our lives during a time of reflection, whanaungatanga and well-being as we look above.
